Basement Bathroom Plumbing

We plan to add a second bathroom in the basement. It will be located where the original laundry room was - right behind the stairs. Here are some shots of the plumbing work that's been done so far. The basement framing will start this week.

If you are installing tanks and fitting pipes to them be sure to cover the ends of the pipes with tape to stop pieces of plastic and swarf from dropping down them, the bits and pieces will block taps later on and cause all kinds of problems.

Any certified plumber can do smaller jobs, but for the ones that are complicated and more elaborate, assessing the abilities of the available plumbers can go a long way in ensuring that your work is not messed up and you don’t have to keep calling the plumber time and again to mend the problem.

Placing a secondary bathroom is a great idea. I was planning the same way too but I'm still looking for a place where I can add this bathroom.

Before hiring a plumber you’ll also want to look into and check for references. Checking references is one of the best ways to ensure that you hire a good plumber.

One of the things I found really important is to check references. Also, keep in mind that there are many plumbers that give free estimates as opposed to a estimate charge.

Looks like most of the comments here are talking about choosing the right plumber. Well, in my opinion, when looking for the right plumber, you should not forget to ask the plumber’s license. That’s very important, especially if you want to make sure the one you hired is a professional plumber. Anyway, I can see in Jen and Dave’s photo that they got a professional plumber because the pipes are definitely arranged in an organized manner.

Hey friends how are you I want share with you some tips hope you like its. Plumbing. It's been with us since Roman times, but today's homes have a lavish supply of hot and cold water on demand, thanks to modern plumbing systems. The principles are simple — pressure and valves — but if they fail, the household may be faced with a soggy mess. When this happens, act quickly to avert major problems. Smart householders know how to spot and resolve small plumbing problems before they become major issues at home. Help your plumbing stay dry and happy with these tips: Keep an eye out for trouble. When it comes to plumbing, little leaks can lead to big problems. Be alert to signs of impending plumbing failures: Leaking faucets, damp cabinets, rocking toilets or dripping refrigerators all signal problems that need prompt attention. Repair problems early. A leaking faucet isn't just annoying; the moisture it releases puts wear on sink fixtures and can encourage the growth of mold and mildew. Stay on top of problems to keep the household clean and dry.
